When people learn to trust their own intuition, identify their needs and define their boundaries, they are better able to advocate for what they want in life. I am passionate about helping clients through depression, grief and loss, trauma, substance use, anxiety and relationship issues. If you are struggling with any of the difficult feelings of being human, I want to help!

The therapeutic relationship is at the heart of counseling, and I bring warmth, authenticity, and occasionally humor to the process. I utilize principles of psychodynamic therapy and harm reduction in my work. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and I draw upon my arts background to incorporate creative expression into the healing process when helpful. I am currently in training for clinical hypnosis, and hope to offer this service in the near future, as well.

I am working towards my Master's Degree in Counseling & Psychological Services from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, and am working under the licensed supervision of Laura Ford.
